Please remember that communications for official union business must be made in writing through the normal chain of command, such as a Shop Steward, or any Local Lodge Officer.

This website is not a substitute for official communications.

The 2008 Convention website is online. The site features updates, travel tips, convention news reports, info for the media, and official convention gear. Check it out.

See who works for you, how the IAM is structured, and what services the IAM offers.

IAM members can now purchase union gear online at the IAM Store. Members can buy a variety of IAM related products such as t-shirts, jackets, jewelry and caps — all emblazoned with the IAM logo.

Jim,

I attended a conference last week where the IAM Leadership informed us of the decision by
the Air Force to give a Contract for the new Tanker aircraft to EADS.  The IAM and Boeing
have a long history together.  We feel that the interest of America would be better filled if the
contract was awarded to Boeing and the jobs, tax dollars and technology stayed in the United
States.  Please feel free to forward this attachment to my Union Brothers and Sisters and I
request they contact their representatives and demand that American military equipment be
“Made in America”

Thank you,

Tony L. Bennett

The YouTube clip below come to us from the Canadian Television Network. It completely undermines Senator Obama's credibility on NAFTA and, far more serious, his legitimacy as a fighter for working families. If he is willing to walk away from his debate statement BEFORE they are even made, he's no friend of the working man.

Please FORWARD this email to your contact lists. This is one story that needs to receive the widest distribution possible.
